What is the Pro-Gen version of a lamp? Pro-Gen (professional genuine) lamps are made by either Philips or Osram. These are the same people who produce your brand manufacturer lamp. These will work perfectly with your projector, at a lower cost. However, there is a downside. If your projector is still under the manufacturer's warranty, then using a Pro-Gen lamp usually invalidates this warranty. Please only order Progen lamps for out-of-warranty projectors.
